The Found Dial LLC (“The Found Dial,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through thefounddial.com, how we use it, when we share it, and the choices you may have regarding your information.
The Found Dial currently sells and ships within the United States. This site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13.
Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us and certain information automatically when you use the site.
Account Information
If you create an account, we may collect your name, email address, username, password-related account credentials, billing and shipping details, order history, and other information you choose to add to your account. Passwords are handled by the website platform and are not stored by us in readable form.
Order and Transaction Information
When you place an order, we collect information needed to process and fulfill it, which may include your name, email address, billing address, shipping address, phone number, items purchased, purchase amount, order notes, gift status and gift date when provided, shipping information, and order history.
Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers such as Stripe and/or Square. We do not receive or store your full payment-card number. Those providers process payment information under their own privacy and security practices.
Contact and Return Requests
If you contact us about a watch, an order, a return, or another question, we may retain the information you provide, including your name, email address, order number, message, reason for a return, and any photographs or other files you voluntarily send to us.
Automatically Collected Information
Like most websites, our site and its service providers may automatically collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring pages, pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, dates and times of visits, and interactions with the site.

Cookies and Similar Technologies
The site uses cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for WordPress and WooCommerce functions such as account login, shopping cart behavior, checkout, security, session management, and remembering certain preferences.
We also use Google Analytics to help us understand website traffic and usage. Google Analytics may place cookies or use similar technologies and may collect information such as device and browser information, pages visited, interactions, approximate geographic information, and IP-derived information. Google handles this information according to its own privacy practices.
You can control many cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may prevent parts of the site, including account, cart, or checkout functions, from working correctly.
How We Share Information
We do not sell or rent customer personal information. We share information only when reasonably necessary to operate the business, provide services, or meet legal obligations. This may include sharing information with:
- Payment processors, including Stripe and/or Square, to process payments and help prevent fraud.
- Shipping carriers, including FedEx and UPS, to deliver orders and provide shipment tracking.
- Website, hosting, security, and technical service providers that help us operate and protect the site.
- Google Analytics to measure and understand site usage.
- Cloud backup providers, including Google Drive, where website backups may contain customer, account, and order information.
- Professional advisers or government authorities when reasonably necessary for accounting, tax, legal compliance, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, or protection of our rights.
We currently use links to third-party social or external websites rather than embedded social feeds. If you follow a link to another website, that site’s privacy practices apply after you leave The Found Dial.
Google Drive Backups
We maintain website backups for business continuity and recovery. These backups may contain account information, order records, customer communications, and other information stored by the website. Backups may be stored with Google Drive and are access-controlled through our business accounts. Backup copies may remain for a period of time after information is changed or removed from the live website as older backups cycle out.
How Long We Keep Information
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and to meet legitimate business, accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, return, dispute, and legal requirements.
Customer account information is generally retained while an account remains active unless deletion is requested and we are not required to keep particular records. Order and transaction records may be retained after an account is closed when needed for accounting, tax, chargeback, fraud-prevention, warranty, return, or legal purposes. Customer-service and return communications may be retained as part of our business records for as long as reasonably needed.
Your Choices and Privacy Rights
You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable state privacy laws. We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests.
Some information cannot be deleted immediately when we have a legal or legitimate business reason to retain it, such as transaction records required for tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute, or legal purposes. Information may also remain temporarily in routine backup copies until those backups are replaced according to our backup schedule.
Children’s Privacy
The Found Dial is a general-audience website and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can review and address the request.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect personal information. However, no website, transmission method, payment system, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
United States Sales
The Found Dial currently accepts orders for shipment within the United States. Visitors outside the United States may still be able to view the site, but our current sales and fulfillment practices are designed for U.S. customers.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as our business, website, service providers, or legal obligations change. When we make changes, we will update the effective date shown at the top of this page.
