THE FOUND DIAL

I want you to have enough time to receive the watch, see it in person and make sure it is right for you. At the same time, each watch is a one-of-one vintage piece, so return windows are intentionally kept fairly short.

A standard return request must be submitted within 7 calendar days of delivery. Please do not ship a watch back until your request has been reviewed and you have received return authorization and instructions from The Found Dial.

The watch must be returned in the same condition in which it was purchased, including any strap, bracelet, box, papers, accessories or other items included with the sale.

Trying on and reasonably inspecting the watch is expected. Damage, alteration, polishing, servicing, parts changes or other modifications made after delivery may make the watch ineligible for return.

Watches returned with damage, missing components, alterations or other changes not present at the time of sale may be refused or may have a reasonable amount deducted from the refund to account for the loss in value.

1. Submit a return request.
Complete the Return Request Form below within the applicable return window. Submission starts the return process but does not by itself authorize shipment.

2. Wait for return authorization.
Your request will be reviewed before anything is mailed. If approved, you will receive the return address and packing instructions.

3. Ship within 5 calendar days.
Once return authorization is issued, the watch must be shipped within 5 calendar days using a tracked and fully insured shipping method. Return shipping and insurance are the responsibility of the customer.

4. The watch is inspected.
Every returned watch will be inspected upon arrival and compared with the condition documented in the original product photographs and listing. The product photographs are part of the permanent condition record for each watch and are used to confirm that the watch has been returned in substantially the same condition in which it was sold.

5. Refund after inspection.
Once the return has been inspected and accepted, the refund will be issued to the original payment method. Approved refunds are generally processed within 3 business days after inspection.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is the result of an error by The Found Dial.

These are vintage watches, and age, patina, wear and cosmetic imperfections are part of what they are. Those characteristics are documented as clearly as possible in the listing and photographs before purchase.

A return does not require the watch to somehow look new. It simply needs to come back in materially the same condition in which it left The Found Dial.

If the wrong item was sent, the watch was materially misrepresented, or it arrived damaged in transit, please contact The Found Dial promptly. Those situations will be handled separately from a standard customer-paid return.

Every watch is photographed to show it as it truly is—the wear, the patina, the imperfections and the details that matter. Those photographs help you understand exactly what you are buying, and they also preserve an honest record of the watch’s condition if a return is ever needed.
